Wedding Cake
This is the cake for my sisters wedding. Her colors were black, white, and gold and she wanted everything very classic and elegant. She wanted it to be 3 tiers, but since it was a family cake we didn't need it to be all cake. The bottom layer was Rice Krispies, and the other layers were yellow cake (her favorite). This was frosted in a fondant layer, and beads (not edible) were added for decoration along with flowers from her florist to match her bouquet. The cake was placed on a mirror to add dimension and simplicity. The top layer also came off easily so they could save it for their first anniversary, and so the middle layer could be cut to give to family. The Rice Krispie layer was also cut up and served. If more layers are wanted, and not needed, a foam shape can also be used and no one is the wiser that it's not actually cake.
